  • West End (Theatreland)

    The Theatreland district in London's West End has approximately 40 theatre venues. It spans The Strand to the South, Oxford Street to the north, Regent Street to the west and Kingsway to the east. London's Theatreland has a very wide variety of performances showing all year round. Together with New York's Broadway, London's Theatreland represents the highest level of commercial theatre in the English speaking world.

     

    How to get there:

    Earls Court Underground station is approximately a five-minute walk from The Paramount Hotel and the Piccadilly Line will take you to London's West End / Theatreland in around 10 minutes.

  • Portobello Road Market

    Portobello Road Market dates back to the 19th Century and is one of London's oldest markets. It was made famous worldwide by the 1999 film Notting Hill starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. 

    Saturday is the big day for visiting the market - you will find over 1,500 stalls selling everything from vintage fashion and jewellery, trinkets, street food and artwork.

    How to get there:

    Earls Court Underground station is approximately a five-minute walk from The Paramount Hotel and taking the District line to Notting Hill Gate station will take you here.

  • Buckingham Palace

    World famous royal residence of HM King Charles III, located in the heart of London. Make sure to take pictures of both Buckingham Palace as well as with the famous King's Guards.

    Walk 5 minutes to Earl's Court station and take the Piccadilly line to Green Park. A short 9 minute walk will take you here. 

     

  • Madame Tussauds

    A world famous museum with life-size wax replicas of celebrities. Visit the London branch with its 3 floors and 150+ lifelike figures and be sure to take pictures with British icons such as the Royal family.

    Earls Court Underground station is approximately a five-minute walk from The Paramount Hotel. Take the District line to Paddington station, change to the Bakerloo line to Baker Street station and walk around 4 minutes. 

  • Palace of Westminster

    A historic building that serves as the place where the Houses of Parliament meet. The neo-Gothic architecture makes this building more than just a government building and is instead a true landmark of London. On the north side of the Palace of Westminster is the recognisable Big Ben.

  • Science Museum

  • Southbank Centre

    Walk 5 minutes to Earl's Court station, take the District line to Westminster station, change to the Jubilee line to Waterloo and Southbank will be right outside. 

  • Camden Lock

  • Mercato Mayfair

  • Chinatown

    Right next to Soho is London's Chinatown. Chinatown has it all; with over 70 authentic East Asian restaurants and cafés, it'll be nearly impossible deciding where to eat!   • Victoria and Albert Museum

    The V&A is the world's largest museum for applied arts, decorative arts and design. Immerse yourself in art here as this is home to a wide range of works such as ancient Chinese ceramics to famous paintings from J. M. W. Turner and many more.

    A short journey consisting of a 5 minute walk to Earl's Court station, taking the District line to South Kensington station. 

  • Regent's Park

    Regent's Park is the largest grass area for sports in Central London and is one of several Royal Parks. Take a stroll in Queen Mary's Rose Gardens which holds 12,000 roses or watch a show this summer in the park's Open Air Theatre which is the oldest outdoor theatre in Britain.     A long walk might take you to one of the park's smaller green spots, Primrose Hill, which is located north of the park. The top of Primrose Hill is the perfect spot that captures the city views. It is also a short 7 minute walk to Camden Lock.

    Walk 5 minutes to Earl's Court station, take the Piccadilly line to Piccadilly Circus station, change to the Bakerloo line to Regent's Park station. 

     

    How to get to Primrose Hill:

    Walk 5 minutes to Earl's Court station, take the Piccadilly line to Leicester Square station, take the Northern line until you reach Chalk Farm station. A 6 minute walk will take you to Primrose Hill. 

  • Coal Drops Yard

    Coal Drops Yard is a complex that includes many restaurants and shops that is next door to one Central Saint Martins campus, a renowned art college. Window-shop in the many shops located in Coal Drops Yard and watch a film outside on their free Screen on the Canal. Have a browse in the large Samsung concept store and support the independent businesses in their pop-up stores.

    Walk to Earl's Court station and take the Piccadilly line to King's Cross St Pancras station. A 10 minute walk will take you here.

  • London Zoo

    Within the premises of Regent's Park is London Zoo, the world's oldest scientific zoo. It houses over 755 different species, from mammals to reptiles and is a great way to get closer to wildlife within Central London.

  • Olympia Exhibition Centre

  • Hyde Park

  • Holland Park

  • Hampstead Heath

  • Covent Garden

  • National Gallery

  • St. Paul's Cathedral

  • Westminster Abbey

  • Brompton Cemetery
